You two have collaborated on no end of strikingly beautiful photographs. This is one of the strongest you have ever done. Technically, of course, it is superb, but that is no surprise in this gallery.
It is Rosie's exposed back, dead center in the photograph, that holds my eye. dA is full of photographs of models with their garments pulled down or torn asunder, and gosh, they're sexy. That's not what this photo is about. Rosie pushes down her blouse and demurely turn her back to us because she has something to show us, a story to tell. The obvious lack of her usual bra and the apparent discoloration of her back leave all sorts of questions. I could swear she's biting her lip. Was she beaten, abused? Was the bra torn from her? Or did she remove it so we could see the whole story?
But there she stands, tall and strong, beautiful and so very, very vulnerable. She's told us her story; now she's ready to put herself back together and move on.
